Fantagraphics’ 2010 NEWAVE! The Underground Mini Comix of the 1980s was such an unexpected hit that it inspired this first of a two-volume set chronicling the art of the mini-comic from the late 1960s to present—The Treasury of Mini ComicsThe Treasury of Mini Comics charts the evolution of the art of mini comics over four decades of deliberate cartoon rebellion. This volume will reproduce some of the best mini comics ever produced by some of the most creative DIY creators in the world (many of whom, of course, have gone on to become familiar names among contemporary comics connoisseurs): Leonard Rifas, Justin Green, Gary Arlington, Jim Siergey, Larry Rippee, Richard Krauss, Bob Vojtko, Par Holman & Clark Dissmeyer, Matt Feazell, Matt Howarth, Steve Willis, Ronald Russell Roach, Edd Vick, Bruce Chrislip, Brad Johnson, Tim Corrigan, Macedonio Garcia, David Miller, Colin Upton, Robert Pasternak, David Lee Ingersoll, Roberta Gregory, John Porcellino, Dylan Williams, Eric Reynolds, Molly Keily, Blair Wilson, Jim Blanchard, Chris Cilla, David Lasky & Jim Woodring, Marc Bell, Ron Rege Jr., Leela Corman, David Heatley, Laura Wady, Fiona Smyth, Karl Wills, Onsmith, Travis Millard, Mark Campos, Nate Beaty, Peter Thompson, Carrie McNinch, Mark Todd, Esther Pearl Watson, Andy Singer, Noah Van Sciver, Kelly Froh, Aaron Norhanian, Max Clotfelter, and Marc J. Get'em

NEW ACID MAN AVAILABLE

Issues No. 30,  No.32,  No.33

The continuing sag.
No.30 has a nice cover and 16 pages of writing writ and wrought.
Thoughtful art and questionable mind.
No.32 has 8 stiff pages and is a bit more artsy (that's code for WTF).
FIND Acid Man on every page.
No.33 is a very fair artifactual likeness of one of my pocket drawing books but the drawings are culled from 4 books from 1992-1993. Made with the same materials as I would use for my own sketchbooks and includes attachments, found inserts and an original one-of-a-kind photo cover on each. WoW! 32 pages. The only thing I did not do is wear it out in my back pocket for a month but I can do that for you for an extra fee. Only 30 made.

Available nowhere yet! Just from me. Contact hurry today write fast call right now. Get'em.

What happened to No.31 you ask? I did it ages ago. It's the one with Nostradamus.
Right now I'm working on No.29.

AGLIFF
October 3 - 7, 2012
Thanks to Noam Gonick, our short experimental film A Place For Us will be screening at AGLIFF in Austin Texas.  The third collaborator of this film, Aaron Zeghlers was the catalyst for the making of this film by combining two super8 films, one by Noam and one by Robert, into something more.

New Book Of Drawings

I just put together  a new book of some drawings that I've been doing since I started a full time position (Sept 08)at G/L Designs - a textile screen printing shop. Often I did not have much time to paint so I spent minutes at a time on this series of "doodles". They are in a style that  I have been doing since the 80's in my SF illustration days but these are much looser and abstract. They are also similar to my pencil phone doodles and a "mechanical cousin" to the breath drawings. There are 23 drawings plus a short introduction in this collection. I will be premiering the book at my show at La Luz De Jesus Gallery this Friday April 3rd!
